Bob is an Investment Director having joined Rathbones in October 2000 and becoming a Director for the Group in 2007. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and runs a team that manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, charities, personal pension schemes, offshore bonds and family trusts.
In 2019 he was shortlisted in the ‘Future Leader in Private Client’ category at Spear’s Wealth Management Awards. He went on to be categorised as “Top Recommended” by Spears in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
In 2015 Bob helped launch the Rathbones’ international team which manages Sterling, Euro and Dollar portfolios for clients of international advisers; the team was named Best International Discretionary Fund Manager at the annual International Investment Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Furthermore, Bob is responsible for communicating Rathbones' investment views to the media and is regularly quoted in the national press.
