Joanna has significant experience of providing discretionary investment management for private individuals, family groups and their trusts, charities and pensions. She has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments since 2005, becoming Chartered in 2011.

Joanna began her investment career at Tilney in 1998 after graduating from Liverpool University. She forged her career at Blankstone Sington for over 17 years, becoming an assistant director in 2014, before joining Rathbones in early 2019.

Jodie joined Rathbones in Jersey in 2020 before moving to the London office in October 2022. She manages discretionary portfolios for private clients, offshore trusts, pensions and charities. She began her career in 2016 at RBS International where she worked in institutional FX sales in the Markets division of the bank. Jodie graduated with a 2.1 BSc Honours degree in International Finance from the University of Buckingham and has passed the Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams. 

Jodie joined Rathbones in Jersey in 2020 before moving to the London office in October 2022. She manages discretionary portfolios for private clients, offshore trusts, pensions and charities. Joe is an investment manager at Greenbank, specialising in managing ethical portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has been awarded the Institute’s masters level Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

He joined Greenbank in 2014 having previously worked for educational charity Teach First as a secondary school Physics teacher. He is a Physics and Philosophy graduate with a BSc and MA from Bristol University.

Joe is an investment director in our Liverpool office and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments with 20 years' financial industry experience. Joe attained his CISI Diploma in 2011 and works closely in a team with investment director - Brian Kenny, managing private client, trust and charity assets valued in excess of £200m.  

Prior to joining Rathbones in 2002 as a corporate events administrator, Joe worked for Tilney Investment Mgt. He worked in various operational roles covering several areas of the business ranging from dividend receipts, UK market settlements, and overseas trade settlement.

Joel joined Greenbank in August 2020 and is an assistant investment manager. He was awarded the CISI’s Masters level Chartered Wealth Manager qualification in December 2021. Joel began his career at BDO LLP, where he spent four years as an auditor. He qualified as an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant in September 2019. Prior to this, he read History at Durham University, graduating in 2016.

In addition to managing bespoke portfolios for private clients, charities and trusts, John also sits on Rathbones’ Responsible Business, Responsible Investment and Stewardship committees. John is a graduate of Exeter University, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. He began his financial career in 1997 with UBS Warburg before joining Greig Middleton and then Rathbones.

John is a senior trust manager working in Liverpool for Rathbones, offering tax planning advice, administration and accountancy services to trustees, individuals and corporate entities.

John has extensive experience in the trust and taxation field having previously occupied consultant roles at chartered accountancy practices in London and Liverpool.

John has an honours degree in Accountancy and is also a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).

John is a senior trust manager working in Liverpool for Rathbones, offering tax planning advice, administration and accountancy services to trustees, individuals and corporate entities.

John joined Rathbones in 2020, following a near-twenty year investment career at Barclays.    In 2016, John took on management of Barclays’ Court of Protection (CoP) and Special Interest (SI) book, representing the most vulnerable component of Barclays’ discretionary proposition. This involved a tailored style of management sensitive to the unique nature of each set of client circumstances.   Prior to specialising in CoP and SI work, John managed private client, offshore bond, trust and pension portfolios for Barclays’ Northern Ireland discretionary book. He served on Barclays’ Fixed Income Collectives Committee, and was latterly responsible for the allocation of Government Debt and European equity within the firm’s regional models.   John graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2000, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
