Michael is an investment director and manages investment portfolios for a broad client base ranging from individuals and families to trusts and institutions. 

Michael graduated from Aberdeen University with a degree in Economics and Accountancy. He then spent five years with Ernst & Young during which time he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He joined Speirs & Jeffrey in 1993 becoming a director of the firm in 1999 up until the point Speirs & Jeffrey was fully integrated with Rathbones in July 2019.

Michael has a background in research and institutional stockbroking. Away from the office he enjoys his family life and a variety of different sports.

Mike is a senior financial planner, joining Rathbones in 2017 from Lloyds Bank Private Clients. Mike has over 30 years’ experience working in the financial services industry. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society who specialises in providing holistic financial planning to high net worth individuals.

Miles assists Jeremy Newman and Tom Smyth managing portfolios for private clients, pension funds, charities and trusts. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), having achieved the Investment Advice Diploma in 2020 and obtained the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification in 2023.

Having graduated from the University of Exeter, Miles joined Rathbones in 2018. He spent time on the Rathbones Graduate Program before joining Jeremy and Tom’s team in 2021.

Miles assists Jeremy Newman and Tom Smyth managing portfolios for private clients, pension funds, charities and trusts. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), having achieved the Investment Advice Diploma in 2020 and obtained the Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification in 2023.

He is a graduate of the University of Liverpool, with a first class honours degree in International Business. He provides bespoke financial planning advice to individuals at various stages in their life, focusing on tax-efficient investments, retirement and estate planning. Myles also prepares detailed long-term cashflow forecasts to help his clients understand how their wealth can shape their future and enjoys providing the reassurance that people can achieve their goals.

Natalie is an investment director and has been managing funds for private clients and trustees since 1993. She joined Rathbones in July 2000 from Close Brothers where she was director of Private Asset Management (formerly Rea Brothers). She spent most of her career at Rea Brothers starting off in foreign exchange and moving to the investment management department in 1989. Natalie passed her General Registered Representative exam in 1989 and has been a Diploma Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment since 1993.

Natalie is an investment director and has been managing funds for private clients and trustees since 1993. Natalya is an assistant investment manager in our Exeter office supporting the team in the management of private client, trust, company and charity investment portfolios. She works closely with a number of professional advisers providing reliable and accurate assistance on behalf of their clients.

Natalya holds the Investment Advice Diploma and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. She joined Rathbones in 2008.

Natalya is an assistant investment manager in our Exeter office supporting the team in the management of private client, trust, company and charity investment portfolios. She works closely with a number of professional advisers providing reliable and accurate assistance on behalf of their clients.

Natasha joined Rathbones in July 2017.  Prior to joining Rathbones, she worked at Amundi Asset Management as an institutional client associate responsible for looking after large corporates, local authorities and pension funds in UK and Ireland. 

Natasha graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) degree in Business Management from Queen Mary, University of London in 2012. 

Natasha works as a client service executive for two investment directors, James Blosse-Lynch and David Parsons. She manages the administration for the team, covering a variety of private clients, trusts, charities and pensions.

Nathan manages bespoke discretionary portfolios for charities, private client, trusts, pension funds, offshore bonds and corporate clients. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Nathan works with many local and national solicitors, accountants and financial advisors. He regularly presents at charity and investment seminars, with some of these leading firms. Nathan sits on the regional Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Committee, which represents local members at a national level.

Nathan has worked as an investment manager since 1994, starting his career at Albert .E. Sharp. Following a takeover by Old Mutual Nathan moved to Quilter, where he worked for 13 years, latterly holding the position of vice president. He was the regional charity specialist, sitting on the Quilter Charities Committee and managing a number of the company’s largest charity accounts. Nathan joined Rathbones at the start of 2013 as an investment director in the Birmingham office.

Nehal joined Rathbones in 2010 having previously worked at EFG Private Bank. Nehal worked in compliance where she gained valuable experience and joined Jane Sydenham’s team in 2014. Nehal manages portfolios for individuals, family groups and their associated trusts, charities and pension funds. She also has a number of international clients.

Nehal graduated from City University in 2007 with an Honours degree in Law. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and has obtained the Investment Management Certificate and Masters in Wealth Management. Nehal was named one of the Private Asset Manager Top 40 under 40 in 2017 and 2020.
