Fiona Gillespie (Head of Charities, Scotland) and Euan MacDonald (Investment Director) from Rathbones will discuss the key investment strategies employed by charities ensuring that your approach is capturing the full opportunity set available. They will explore the key principles of an income only approach versus a total return strategy. Closing with some practical guidance on putting together your investment policy statement.


Debbie McIlwraith Cameron (Senior Associate) from Turcan Connell will provide a short legal update on the recent regulatory changes and highlight some key trustee duties. Debbie will also share some recent inquiry reports from the regulator, and lessons for the sector to learn.
