Presented last night (25 June) at Fabric, the awards recognise the importance of quality service to intermediary clients and are considered to be the benchmark for service standards within the retail finance marketplace.
The ratings are awarded based on the views of 1,000 polled advisers, who rate providers on the range of services offered, and the efficacy of their online provision and ease of use.
Commenting, Rathbone Unit Trust Management chief executive Mike Webb said:
“This award demonstrates that we are providing a vital service to our adviser customers, and has particular value as it’s voted for by our clients. At Rathbones we strive to look forward, and this 5-star rating is testament to all we have achieved.”
About the awards
The FTAdviser Online Service Awards are an independent measurement of which providers are getting it right online, and who needs to do more work to keep their intermediary customers happy.
Once we receive all the voting data, the information is independently checked and verified, before the results are collated. These results allow financial service providers to benchmark themselves against their peers; and intermediaries to health check their own service experience against the norm.
Those awarded a 5-star for services are considered to be the top performers, down through 4, 3, 2 and 1 star ratings. Some providers achieved so little support that they did not even qualify for a star rating.
