<p>Rathbones’ charity team was delighted to win the Investment Manager of the Year award for the second year running at the 18^th&nbsp;Annual Charity Times Awards on 4 October.</p> <p>The awards celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector and Rathbones were one of seven investment management firms shortlisted. The ceremony, run by Charity Times, took place at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge with winners announced by comedian Shappi Khorsandi.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Each quarter, our strategic asset allocation committee meets to identify the key themes that could affect global financial markets. This quarter’s key themes include:</p> <p>1. <h2>There were 3,186 reports of investment fraud in 2015/16. In the same year, victims lost an average of £32,000 to these scams.</h2> <p>To help combat the problem, Rathbones is supporting a new FCA campaign called Scam Smart.
