WE ARE DELIGHTED TO PROVIDE DEDICATED FINANCIAL ADVICE, INVESTMENT AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR PwC PARTNERS.
We look after almost 200 current and retired PWC Partners and have your firm’s internal arrangements in place to work alongside your Partner Independence team and Partnership Tax team. We have developed a PwC Whitelist of pre-approved and centrally monitored investments available to all PwC partners and directors. These investments include direct equity and bond investment as well as unit trusts, investment trusts and trackers. We have access to AIR (Automatic Investment Reporting) which removes the need for post trade-updates on CHECKPOINT within your portfolio with only one ‘Rathbones’ entry required and furthermore, within these agreements, your investments will always be fully compliant with independence requirements to provide you with the assurance of investing safely without concern of breaching any rules. We also have FS and non-FS versions of our WALLED GARDEN, providing access to risk rated bespoke portfolios with access to all of the investments listed above. We have your firm’s internal arrangements in place to work alongside your Partner Independence team and Partnership Tax team. Chris Coomber
Financial Planning Director
Chris has been helping clients for over 16 years, with a particular specialism in partners at PwC and other accountancy practices, barristers and city professionals. Chris, who studied Economics at the University of Cambridge, is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and has spoken regularly on behalf of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He joined Saunderson House (SHL) in 2007 and is now part of Rathbones Financial Planning following the acquisition of SHL in October 2021. He enjoys that each client is unique, with their own personal goals and wishes, and likes nothing more than working collaboratively to achieve them. He has a particular interest in the use of cash flow modelling to tailor a high-level roadmap for each client, which helps shape the strategy adopted in other areas. This typically includes helping clients decide how their families can be best protected, how to grow their portfolio, when they can afford to retire and how they can live the life they wish. Outside of work, Chris is a sports fanatic and enjoys many weekends playing hockey or softball, as well as hitting the ski slopes in winter. He is also a keen cyclist, having completed various multi-day international rides for charity. Chris also spent two summers teaching sports to children in the USA, before starting his financial planning career.
