Julie is an investment manager, managing investment portfolios on behalf of private clients, trusts, charities and pensions.  She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Securities and Investment Institute, completing her Diploma in December 2007.

Julie joined Rathbones in July 2015 following nearly nine years with Brewin Dolphin and five and a half years with Aberdeen Asset Managers in trainee and investment manager roles.

As well as Julie’s CISI Diploma, her qualifications also include the Investment Management Certificate, Financial Planning Certificates 1, 2 and 3, and a Degree in Commerce.

James is an investment director, joining Rathbones from Barings where he was head of charities for nine years. He focused upon absolute return mandates and managed the Targeted Return Common Investment Fund, one of the fastest growing charity funds in recent years. James previously worked at Deutsche Asset Management, Lazard Brothers and Teather & Greenwood, all in charity investment roles. From 1988 to 1994 he served in the British Army.

James has an MA (First Class) in Modern History from Oxford University, has written numerous articles on absolute return in the charity press and is a regular speaker at charity events and investment conferences.

James is an investment director, joining Rathbones from Barings where he was head of charities for nine years. Mark has been the regional director since 2015, having joined Rathbones in 2001 to help open the Cambridge office. As well as being responsible for running and developing the Cambridge team, Mark has significant experience in managing private client, trust, offshore, pension fund and Charity portfolios. He has worked in the industry since his graduation in 1994.

Mark holds the CISI Diploma and has been a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) since 2000. He received the APCIMS Award for achieving the highest marks nationally that year in the Private Client Investment Advice and Management paper of the Diploma.

Mark has spent 10 years as a school governor and is now involved in the office charitable fundraising, as well as being a trustee for a local charity. Mark also spent 15 years coaching youth football and now enjoys cycling and running.

Peter is an Investment Director who joined Rathbones in 2014 from Adam Investment Management. He graduated from the University of St Andrews with a BSc Hons in Geography and went on to complete an MSc postgraduate degree in Property Investment and Management. Victoria is an investment director with over 20 years' experience in providing and managing investment solutions to Charity and Pension Fund trustees, as well as to individuals including those with bespoke or complex investment requirements.

Victoria is a chartered fellow of the CISI and an experienced Trustee. She is a former Executive Trustee of the Edward Gostling Foundation, former trustees of the Lankelly Chase Foundation, an early adopter of the UNPRI, latterly chairing the Investment Committee, and former advisor to the Stroke Association Investment Committee.

Victoria joined Greenbank in 2015 from Barclays where she was senior director for the London Charity Team.  From 2007- 2010, Victoria was regional investment director for London and the South East responsible for the Gerrard Investment Management business, (£2billion in Private Client, Charity, Pension and Court of Protection portfolios). Alastair is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He has a law degree from The University of Dundee as well as an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business.
 
He joined James Finlay Investment Management in 1987 where he worked as an investment manager until the company was acquired by Brewin Dolphin in 1996 where he served as a divisional director until joining Rathbones in 2015. 
 
Alastair has over 25 years of experience in private client investment management. He grew up in England but was educated in Scotland and works across the UK with a diverse client base specialising in the management of family wealth. He has long experience in collectives management as well as direct equity and bond market investment.
 
He is a trustee of the Scottish Cot Death Trust.

Andrea started her career with Brewin Dolphin in April 2004 and has achieved her Diploma in Investment Compliance and her Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification.  She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (FCSI).

Andrea is an ambassador for Rathbones Financial Awareness training, speaking to children and young adults to provide an insight into the wider world of money and personal finance as well as an overview of the investment management industry.

In addition, she is a keen supporter of the Beatson Cancer Charity, undertaking fund-raising activities and volunteers as a support carer for South Lanarkshire Council.
