James was one of the founding members of the Rathbones Newcastle office when it opened in 2013. Prior to that he was a Director at UBS Wealth Management. He has 26 years investment industry experience and specialises in the management of charities, pension funds and trust portfolios. He sits on the Rathbones Collectives Committee with responsibility for research and selection of global equities funds for the group. James holds a master’s degree from University of Northumbria, the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) Diploma and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI. He is a trustee of The Rothley Trust, a charity which supports grant-making in the North-East of England and is a former vice-chair of Tyne & Wear Archives and Museums Development Trust.

Georgina is an investment director, looking after portfolios for private clients, their personal pension funds and trusts. She specialises in charity investment management and, in addition to running local Trustee training events, is an experienced Trustee herself. She sits on a number of Rathbones Committees, both at a local and group level, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Georgina graduated from Newcastle University in 1999 and spent a short time working for Rowe Price Flemings as a research assistant. She joined Rathbones in 2000 as a graduate trainee and has been managing money for some of her clients for over 20 years. She is passionate about building a close relationship with her clients, strongly believing that this is the cornerstone to achieving their aims.

Amos is the Regional Director for the Bristol office and joined Rathbones in 2007. He manages portfolios for private clients, charities, pension funds, companies and trusts, and is the regional charity representative. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and has previously served on the firm’s internal research committee. Amos graduated from Bristol University in 2000 with BSc in Microbiology and in his spare time enjoys winter sports and going to music events.

Alex is an investment director, his main focus is in managing assets for the not for profit, pension and corporate sector with a bias towards structuring segregated asset portfolios. He has particular expertise in corporate debt and equities, and where possible has a preference for direct investment of these asset classes. He chairs the Charity Asset Allocation and Stock Committee and also sits on the UK Equity and Fixed Income Committee for the Investment Management division of Rathbones.
Alex is Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute and holds the Securities Institute Diploma, having qualified in 1989. Prior to joining Rathbones in 2008, he spent 20 years at HSBC Global Asset Management (formerly James Capel) where he was responsible for developing and leading the successful Charity division.

Adrian joined Rathbones in 2004 after graduating from the University of Liverpool with an honours degree in Financial Economics and is currently Head of Charities in Liverpool.

Adrian is a CFA charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst) as well as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). He is a member of Rathbones group Stock Selection Committee and chairs the Charity Fixed Income and Collectives Committee.

Before joining Rathbones’ Birmingham office, as an investment director in October 2010 Ian worked as a director of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, formerly Tilney Investment Management.

Andy graduated from Exeter University with a first class honours degree in Chemistry and Law, and subsequently spent three years as a solicitor in the corporate finance team at Freshfields in the early 1990s.
Andy joined Rathbones in June 2014 following his previous role as head of charities at Newton Investment Management. Andy has also worked at Schroder Investment Management and UBS Wealth Management, and during his career has managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations, as well as individuals, trusts and corporates.
Andy is a visiting lecturer at the Cass Business School (Centre for Charity Effectiveness), and an external member of the Investment Committee of the Dunhill Medical Trust. He is also an Associate Member of the CFA Society of the UK (ASIP) and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI). Andy is a keen sportsman with interests in skiing, horses and tennis, whilst enjoying time spent in the garden and with his family.
