Sally is the fixed income research analyst for the Rathbone Multi-Asset and Rathbone Greenbank Multi-Asset Portfolio funds. Sally joined Rathbones in September 2022 as an analyst for the Rathbone Fixed Income Team. Prior to joining Rathbones, she worked in fixed income and private wealth management at Evans and Partners in Australia. Sally graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (with Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Finance) and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 3 candidate.

Ian is an Investment Director, specialising in helping Charities and other not for profit groups. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) as well as an Affiliate member of the Association of Corporate Governance Practitioners. He holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investment and is a member of the investment committee at Birmingham Women’s & Children’s Hospital and a Trustee of Forest of Hearts.

Ian has over two decades worth of experience, including a period as the Head of a regional specialist Charity team at another firm. Ian has considerable experience of working with and advising Trustees of Charities and other non-profit organisations of all types and sizes and from a wide range of sectors. He is also a frequent speaker on Charity related investment matters and he has published articles in journals such as The Business Influencer and Philanthropy Impact magazine.

Alex Neilson is an Investment Manager in our Liverpool office and joined Rathbones at the start of 2023, previously having worked at Investec in London and more recently Cazenove Capital in Chester & Manchester.

He has over 10 years of investment and portfolio management experience looking after complex family arrangements, charities, pensions, trusts and has a particular interest in owner managed businesses and entrepreneurs.

Alex is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, holds the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and has 11 years of investment experience.

Ryan joined Rathbones as an Investment Director in June 2023 and specialises in working with Independent Financial Advisers to construct and manage bespoke investment portfolios. Having spent the last ten years working in this space at Investec Wealth & Investment, Ryan prides himself on providing the highest level of service to advisers and their clients.

Ryan holds the CISI Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification, Investment Advice Diploma and has sat on the committee for the CISI Liverpool, Chester and North Wales. He obtained his M.B.A (Finance) in 2009 and also holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science from Hartwick College, NY.

Ben graduated over a decade ago from the University of Edinburgh with a Masters in Economics and remained in Edinburgh for the first five years of his wealth management career before returning to the North West.

He is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and a Chartered Wealth Manager. Ben was named in Citywealth Leaders 2019 Future Leaders Top 100 Super Advisors and also in the Citywealth Leaders 2019 Investment Director of the Year.

Ben joined Rathbones in 2023 as an Investment Director advising private individuals, their families and business interests. James joined Rathbones in November 2023 following his previous role as Co-head of Investments at CCLA Investment Management, where he was responsible for the management of their multi-asset and global equity funds. James has also worked at Santander Asset Management and Moore UK Chartered Accountants, and during his career has managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations, as well as institutions and retail investors.

James has a BA in History from Leicester University is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI) and holds a Certificate in Business Accounting.

Charlotte is an Investment Manager and has worked in private client fund management since 2016. She joined Rathbones following three years working with Land Rover.

Charlotte manages investments for private individuals, family trusts and charities. In 2022, she was invited to join PIMFA's Under 40 Leadership committee.

David previously worked as an analyst in Henley-on-Thames before making the move to Bristol to join the Greenbank team. David read Economics at the University of Manchester and is a CFA charterholder.

Max is a trainee investment manager based in the London office. He works amongst a wider team of eight other investment professionals providing bespoke investment solutions for a wide range of clients, helping them to achieve their objectives. He also works closely with intermediaries, complementing their advice on matters such as wealth structuring, tax efficiency, and intergenerational planning.

Max graduated from the University of Surrey in 2021, with a First Class Honours degree in Economics & Mathematics. Max joined Rathbones in September 2023 after two years of experience working at an Independent Financial Advisory firm.

Max is a member of the Personal Finance Society, having completed his Level 4 CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in March 2023. Max also holds the CII Level 4 Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management as well as the CFA Society's Level 4 Investment Management Certificate (IMC). He is currently studying toward the Level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.
