Ian is an investment director and has over 30 years’ experience in the discretionary management of investment portfolios. After graduating in 1982 Ian joined Strauss Turnbull where he spent 20 years managing international portfolios for private individuals, trusts and corporate funds before joining Rathbones’ Edinburgh office in 2003.

Ian became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments in 1986.

Iain is an investment director with experience managing a variety of bespoke portfolios including SIPPs, offshore bonds and discretionary trusts for private clients, financial advisers and solicitors.

Iain is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and holds the CISI’s Masters in Wealth Management (Level 7), Investment Management Certificate and a Diploma in Financial Services.  

Iain began his career in investment management in 2002 with Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service where he rose to the position of investment manager before joining Rathbones' Edinburgh office in 2010 following the acquisition of the Bank of Scotland business from Lloyds.

Evangelos is an investment director who joined Rathbones in early 2012. He is responsible for managing a number of portfolios for private individuals, personal pensions, trusts and charities. He is a voting member of the firm’s Strategic Asset Allocation Committee and the Fixed Income Committee. For the last three years, he has also covered fixed income and commodities fund research, sitting on the Respective Collectives Committees. 

Prior to joining Rathbones, Evangelos spent seven years at Turcan Connell Solicitors and Asset Managers, originally working in their compliance department and during the last five years, managing private client portfolios and being responsible for the firm’s fixed income and commodities research as an investment manager. 

Evangelos holds an honours degree in Actuarial Mathematics & Statistics from Heriot Watt University and is a CFA charterholder. He also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (FCSI).

Danny is an investment manager who has worked in the industry for 20 years. His primary responsibilities are the provision of discretionary investment management solutions for individuals, family trusts and pensions.        Having started his investment career at Lloyds Private Bank in Mayfair he moved to Williams de Broe in 2006. The firm was acquired by Investec in 2011. He left to join Rathbones in 2014.    He is a Chartered Member of the Institute for Securities & Investment. 
Danny is an investment manager who has worked in the industry for 20 years. Clare joined Rathbones in July 2010 following the acquisition of the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Service from Lloyds. She had been with portfolio management service for 25 years and during this time was involved in all aspects of private client investments and managed private client portfolios for the latter 17 years.

Carol is an investment director who has worked in investment management since December 1981 and she has been responsible for the discretionary management of investment portfolios for private clients, charities and trusts since 1990. Carol is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is a Chartered Wealth Manager. 

Carol joined Rathbones’ Edinburgh office in July 2010 having worked previously for the Bank of Scotland Portfolio Management Services from the end of 1981. Whilst with the Bank of Scotland, as well as managing discretionary portfolios, she was involved with the training of colleagues and with compliance monitoring.

Andrew is an investment director responsible for the investment management of private clients, trusts, charities and self-invested personal pension (SIPP) accounts. He started his working life with Cazenove in London and Salisbury, moving up to Edinburgh in 1994 to work for Ivory & Sime Private Clients before helping to arrange its sale to Rathbones in 1998. He has over 26 years' experience in financial markets and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Within Rathbones, Andrew sits on the Stock Selection Committee for Rathbones Investment Management, and the Broker Selection Committee. He has a specialist interest in oil exploration and production stocks, and mining companies.

He subsequently helped establish the private client fund management department within Murray Johnstone before moving to Premier Asset Management.

Alex is a Chartered Wealth Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments.
