He joined Rathbones in 1993 and spent the first 23 years of his career working in Operations. In 2016, Gerry moved into a business development role and became a Key Account Manager working with a national strategic partner. In 2019, he became a DFM specialist responsible for developing relationships with all financial advisers in the region.

He joined Rathbones in October 2016 and brings 13 years of financial services experience. Michael previously worked as a specialist on the sales team focused on Rathbones ethical and sustainable products and services. Prior to working for Rathbones Michael spent three years at Octopus Investments as a VCT specialist.
Michael holds the: IMC, IMD, CFA: ESG Investing, CISI Sustainable and Responsible investment certificate and the Cambridge institute of sustainable leadership: Sustainable Finance certificate.
