Sarra joined Rathbones as a credit analyst in July 2015 and was subsequently promoted to Fixed Income Research Analyst in 2020. As a credit analyst, Sarra was responsible for providing in-depth credit analysis for the Fixed Income Committee and to investment managers at Rathbones. Sarra covered names from different sectors including financials and corporates. She continues to provide oversight to analysts’ recommendations to the group. In her current capacity, Sarra also represents the fixed income team in investment meetings, actively manages the credit process and ensures the quality of the fixed income investment approach. Her responsibilities extend to chairing the Fixed Income committee and providing FI research to the group, including portfolio construction and helping to manage a small institutional book of Fixed Income.


Sarra graduated from Birmingham University with a Bachelor of Business Management in 2015. She has also achieved a master’s degree in Banking and International Finance with Merit in 2016 from Cass Business School. Sarra holds the Investment Management Certificate and CFA charterholder. Before joining Rathbones, Sarra completed two summer internships, one with a finance start-up in China and another with Goldman Sachs in their Syndicated Bank Loan division in London.

Robert joined Rathbones in 2017 as an investment director and has over 15 years of investment management experience. He began his career in 2000, working for a number of regional stockbrokers before spending 13 years at Brown Shipley in their Manchester office.

Rob is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a Chartered Wealth Manager and holds an honours degree in Accounting.

At Rathbones, Rob is responsible for managing multi-asset investment portfolios for  private individuals, trustees, and pension funds. He places the utmost importance on building close relationships with his clients and delivering the highest quality of service.

Andy joined Rathbones from Brewin Dolphin where he was a divisional director in the Newcastle Office.

Andy is a Fellow of CISI with 27 years experience in the financial service sector having previously worked for Barclays Bank before joining Brewin Dolphin in 1996.

Over the last 20 years, Andy has amassed a wide range of experience in dealing with the fast pace and changing face of investment markets, his knowledge has enabled him to provide an invaluable steer and insight for all of his clients through several market cycles.

At Rathbones Andy is continuing to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis for individuals, trusts, companies, pension funds and charities.

Elliot joined Rathbones’ charity team in 2016 from Investec Wealth & Investment, where he spent eight years as an investment manager in the charities team. He has over 15 years' experience of advising and managing private client portfolios and charity investments. As a trustee and treasurer of Shaftesbury Young People, a charity dedicated to the lives of young and disadvantaged children, and a founding trustee of a Chinese arts-based charity, Elliot brings a wealth of experience and insight to helping charities achieve their future growth goals.

Elliot has a BSc in Robotics and Control Engineering and a masters in International Finance from ICMA Business School, Reading University. He successfully completed his Securities Diploma in 2007.

Colin joined Rathbones in 2016 with a focus on advising clients with complex financial planning needs. In 2019 he was appointed as client development director responsible for ensuring that our clients benefit from our wide range of professional services. In January 2022 he was appointed as head of business development for Greenbank with the responsibility of directing the organic growth of our ethical, sustainable and impact business and ensuring that we deliver optimal investment solutions to our clients wishing to avoid harm and make a positive impact with their wealth.

Before joining Rathbones in 2016, Colin was a director at Coutts and HSBC International, advising internationally mobile and non-domicile clients on country-specific tax solutions and excluded property trusts.  Furthermore, with RBS International he was a key figure responsible for supporting the group’s growth ambitions in establishing a Middle East wealth management office in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Colin is a Chartered Financial Planner, a Chartered Wealth Manager, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Nick manages discretionary investment portfolios for a range of individuals, companies and trusts with a particular focus on working with Independent Financial Advisers and their clients.

Sanjiv started his career at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management (later Deutsche Asset Management) in 1996 where he was an investment manager and equity research analyst. Sanjiv graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and has passed the Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR) exams.

Christopher is an investment director and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

He manages investment portfolios for charities, trusts, pensions and private clients including some with ethical criteria. He also enjoys working with independent financial advisers.

After graduating from Bristol University, where he had an army scholarship, Christopher served for seven years in a cavalry regiment. He started at Rathbones in 2002, where he trained, and as investment director worked in Bristol and Exeter. In 2012 he moved to Brewin Dolphin as divisional director before rejoining Rathbones in 2016.

Christopher is an investment director and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

He manages investment portfolios for charities, trusts, pensions and private clients including some with ethical criteria. He also enjoys working with independent financial advisers.

Latterly he became a private banker with Adam & Company, managing a portfolio of high net worth clients.

James is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and has obtained the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification. James also holds a first class honours degree in Economics (BSc).

Fiona joined Rathbones as an investment director in 2016. At Rathbones Fiona concentrates on investments for private individuals, their pensions, family trusts and charities, specialising in the management of multi-asset investment portfolios. She is a qualified Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and holds the Securities Institute Diploma. Fiona also holds a Diploma in Financial Planning with the CII.

Having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 2.1 BSc, Fiona began her career at State Street Global Advisors as a graduate before moving to HSBC Global Asset Management in 2002 where she worked for 14 years in the Discretionary Wealth Management division. Fiona had many roles during her career at HSBC including head of Investment Trust Committee and regional head for the southern region working closely with clients and their advisers but her primary focus has always been on giving excellent service to her clients.
