Martha joined Rathbones as an investment director in 2016.  At Rathbones Martha concentrates on investments for private individuals, their pensions and family trusts, specialising in the management of multi asset investment portfolios.  Martha is a qualified Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and holds the Securities Institute Diploma.

Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh, Martha began her career at Cazenove, on the graduate training programme, gaining experience in all facets of the business. She concluded that a future managing individuals’ wealth suited her skill set and interest. In 2006 Martha joined HSBC Global Asset Management in the Discretionary Wealth division.  As a director, Martha had regional responsibility for London working closely with clients and their advisers.

Henry is an investment director with over 25 years' experience in the private client industry, both in the UK and Hong Kong. At Rathbones Henry concentrates on investments for private individuals, their pensions and family trust structures. Henry is qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and holds the Securities Institute Diploma.

On returning to the UK from Asia in 1997, Henry worked initially at investment managers Raphael Zorn Hemsley and Tilney & Co. before in 2006 joining HSBC Global Asset Management, as a director. This was in the Discretionary Wealth Management division, with regional responsibility for the North and working closely with clients and their advisors. After 10 years service there he moved to Rathbones in 2016.

Nicholas joined Rathbones in April 2016 from HSBC where he had spent the last 28 years working in the Discretionary Wealth Management division. He graduated from the University of Southampton in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Studies. 

Nicholas is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and attained the CISI Diploma qualification in 1990.  He is an extremely experienced investment professional specialising in the management of multi asset investment portfolios for private investors, their pensions, trusts and charities.

Thomas specialises in managing investment portfolios for private individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. Within Rathbones he sits on the Strategic Asset Allocation Committee.

Thomas joined Rathbones in May 2012, after graduating from the University of St Andrews with a honours degree in History. He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charterholder and holds  a Masters in Finance from London Business School.

Thomas specialises in managing investment portfolios for private individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. Within Rathbones he sits on the Strategic Asset Allocation Committee.

Kate joined Rathbones as an Investment Manager in 2016 and is based in our Winchester office. She concentrates on investments for private individuals, their pensions, family trusts and charities, specialising in the management of multi-asset portfolios. Within Rathbones, Kate sits on various committees including our Vulnerable Client Panel as well as specialist teams focussed on supporting Entrepreneurs and Divorcee clients.
Kate’s career started at Bordier UK in London in 2005 where she trained and became an Investment Manager. She also sat on the Investment Committee at Bordier and was Head of Structured Products. 
Prior to Bordier, she graduated from the University of Manchester with an honours degree in Economics specialising in Accounting and Finance. Before achieving the Masters in Wealth Management. She was named in the Top 30 under 30 in 2013 and more recently in 2022 was the Citywealth Investment Manager of the Year, Gold.

Jonathan joined Rathbones in 2011 and provides discretionary management for private clients, pensions, trusts and charity portfolios. He started his investment career at JP Morgan in 2007 and prior to joining Rathbones, worked at Newton assisting in the management of private client portfolios. 

Jonathan graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2007 with a 2:1 in Economics & Management and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. He holds both the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the CISI Level 7 Masters in Wealth Management.

Camilla is an investment director and has worked in private client fund management since 2011. She joined Rathbones in 2011 having previously worked at Lyxor Asset Management, part of the Societe Generale Group.

Camilla graduated from the University of Edinburgh gaining a 2:1 in Geography in 2010 and is now a Chartered Fellow, FCSI, of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having completed the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Masters in 2014.

She works alongside Tim Johnson who is an investment director managing discretionary private client investment portfolios for complex family structures, including the management of bespoke family funds. As well as participating in researching investment ideas and providing administrative support, Camilla is also a member of the Overseas and UK Investment Committees, which has responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring of international and UK equity exposure for the group.

Gareth is an Investment Director who manages portfolios on behalf of charities and other not-for-profit organisations. Gareth joined Rathbones in 2015 from Quilter Cheviot. Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012 with a BA (Hons) degree in Politics. He is a member of Rathbones’ Portfolio Construction Committee and Engagement Committee.

Gareth is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI) and obtained the Masters in Wealth Management in 2014. He has passed the CISI Professional Assessment in Sustainable and Responsible Investment. He has attended the Cass Business School “Charity Investment – Theory and Practice” course, the leading investment course for charities in the UK.
