Stuart started his career in 2003 at JPMorgan Cazenove (formerly Cazenove) within Corporate Dealing Services trading options for FTSE 100 and 250 companies, joining Rathbones in 2010.

Stuart has a BA (Hons) English degree from the University of Southampton and the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification, previously the Masters in Wealth Management. He also holds the CISI Diploma in Investment Advice and is a Fellow of the CISI.

Stuart primarily focuses on asset allocation modelling and risk management and is responsible for UK and international discretionary private client portfolios.

He is a member of the international team which was the winner of ‘Best International Discretionary Fund Manager’ for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and is responsible for the research, selection and ongoing monitoring of bespoke investment solutions.

Stuart is also a trustee for The Rathbone Group Foundation.

Steve is an investment director at Rathbones having joined in 2014 and manages a broad range of private client portfolios, trusts and self-invested pension schemes.

He started his career at Williams de Broë (now Investec) in 2011. Steve is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager. He is a member of the Rathbones Financial Adviser Investment team.

Steve is an investment director at Rathbones having joined in 2014 and manages a broad range of private client portfolios, trusts and self-invested pension schemes.

Charles is an investment director, he is responsible for the management of private client portfolios, including trusts, charities and pension funds (SIPPs). Charles began his career as a trainee stockbroker with Charles Stanley & Co in 1986 before joining Laurence Keen in 1990, which was acquired by Rathbones Group Plc in 1995. Charles is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Charles is an investment director, he is responsible for the management of private client portfolios, including trusts, charities and pension funds (SIPPs). Bob is an Investment Director having joined Rathbones in October 2000 and becoming a Director for the Group in 2007. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and runs a team that manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, charities, personal pension schemes, offshore bonds and family trusts.

In 2019 he was shortlisted in the ‘Future Leader in Private Client’ category at Spear’s Wealth Management Awards. He went on to be categorised as “Top Recommended” by Spears in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

In 2015 Bob helped launch the Rathbones’ international team which manages Sterling, Euro and Dollar portfolios for clients of international advisers; the team was named Best International Discretionary Fund Manager at the annual International Investment Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Furthermore, Bob is responsible for communicating Rathbones' investment views to the media and is regularly quoted in the national press.

Nehal joined Rathbones in 2010 having previously worked at EFG Private Bank. Nehal worked in compliance where she gained valuable experience and joined Jane Sydenham’s team in 2014. Nehal manages portfolios for individuals, family groups and their associated trusts, charities and pension funds. She also has a number of international clients.

Nehal graduated from City University in 2007 with an Honours degree in Law. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments and has obtained the Investment Management Certificate and Masters in Wealth Management. Nehal was named one of the Private Asset Manager Top 40 under 40 in 2017 and 2020.

Nathan manages bespoke discretionary portfolios for charities, private client, trusts, pension funds, offshore bonds and corporate clients. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. Nathan works with many local and national solicitors, accountants and financial advisors. He regularly presents at charity and investment seminars, with some of these leading firms. Nathan sits on the regional Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Committee, which represents local members at a national level.

Nathan has worked as an investment manager since 1994, starting his career at Albert .E. Sharp. Following a takeover by Old Mutual Nathan moved to Quilter, where he worked for 13 years, latterly holding the position of vice president. He was the regional charity specialist, sitting on the Quilter Charities Committee and managing a number of the company’s largest charity accounts. Nathan joined Rathbones at the start of 2013 as an investment director in the Birmingham office.

Libby is an Investment Director on the charity team, having joined Rathbones in 2012 after graduating from Bristol University with a first-class honours degree in chemistry. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, having obtained the investment advice diploma, and is also a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Libby specialises in managing charity and institutional portfolios. Libby chairs the developed equities committee within Rathbones, specialising in the selection of North American funds. Libby is a charity trustee in her own right and also sits on the Rathbones foundation committee.

Libby is an Investment Director on the charity team, having joined Rathbones in 2012 after graduating from Bristol University with a first-class honours degree in chemistry. Jane is an investment director working with both Greenbank and the London Charities team. She graduated in 1998 with an honours degree in Economics from Nottingham University and is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a Chartered Wealth Manager.

She trained at Tilney in Liverpool, managing portfolios for private clients, trusts, pensions and charities, before moving to Brown Shipley and Co, where she became a voting member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee, providing equity research and guidance for the wider firm, and was involved in managing the in-house UK equity funds.

Jane joined Barclays’ portfolio management team in 2008 where she became a specialist in managing bespoke and ethical portfolios on behalf of Charity clients, and was a voting member of Barclays UK Equity Committee and the Charity Investment Committee.

David Kness is an Investment Director in our Winchester office and is responsible for managing a wide variety of portfolios for private clients. He has over 15 years’ experience in the industry. David sits on various committees and specialist teams within Rathbones involving Entrepreneur and Divorce clients. 

David is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. His career began in the City of London with PSigma Investment Management before joining Rathbones in 2012. David graduated from the University of Surrey with an honours degree in Economics. 

He has received multiple awards in the wealth management industry including Citywealth Investment Director of the Year 2022, Citywealth Investment Manager of the Year 2021 (Gold), inclusion in the Citywealth Future Leaders Top 100, PAM Top 40 under 40 and Wealth Manager Top 30 under 30.

Oliver graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Economic and Social History.

Oliver joined Rathbones in September 2014 as an Investment Director from Jupiter Asset Management. At Jupiter, Oliver managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of clients including private clients, charities, institutions, and trusts. He was also an assistant manager for Jupiter Fund of Investment Trusts and Monthly Income unit trusts. Oliver started his career at Bestinvest whom he joined in 1997 where he ultimately became head of investment management. Oliver is a Chartered Member of the CISI.

Oliver graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Economic and Social History.
