Ross joined Rathbones in July 2019 following the integration from Speirs & Jeffrey. He assists two Investment Director 

colleagues with the management of private client portfolios. Prior to starting with Speirs & Jeffrey in 2017, Ross worked for Barclays Wealth
Management as a team senior in an operations role. His financial career began with Scottish Friendly Assurance.

Promoted to his current role in April 2022, Ross holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma and is progressing towards the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification.

Jack joined Rathbones Glasgow office in 2022 after nearly six years with Brewin Dolphin in Edinburgh. 

Jack holds a First-Class degree in Immunology and Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen and has completed the Chartered Wealth Manager Qualifications through the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. 

Working closely with Craig Baxter, Jack has experience managing investment portfolios for private clients, pensions, and trusts.

Outside of the office, Jack lives in Kippen, Stirlingshire, and is a keen hill walker with his dog Ronnie.

Oliver is an investment manager based in the Winchester office. He joined Rathbones in 2022 having moved from Brooks Macdonald where he worked for five years. 

Oliver graduated from Cardiff University with a first class degree in Accounting & Finance. He holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Wealth Manager Qualification. 

Oliver sits on the UK collectives investment committee.

Iain works alongside Nick Roe-Ely in the management of investment portfolios for private individuals, pensions, trusts and charities. He is a member of the firm’s Adviser Specialist Group and contributes to the Rathbones investment process through his position on the Overseas Equities Committee.

A graduate of the University of Liverpool with a BA (Hons) degree in Modern History and Politics, Iain began his career with BNY Mellon working with institutional clients in its asset servicing division before moving to Rathbones in 2015.

Iain is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has been awarded the level 7 CISI Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification. He also holds the CFA Investment Management Certificate and the CISI Investment Administration Qualification.

Tilia joined Rathbones in 2022 as a junior ESG and stewardship analyst. She is part of the stewardship team, working on corporate engagement activities, informed proxy voting and the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors within the investment process.

Prior to joining Rathbones, Tilia was knowledge officer at Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) where she worked to inspire action by finance leaders to drive a shift towards resilient business models and a sustainable economy.

Tilia is a graduate of Durham University where she studied Geography and has also completed the Chartered Banker Institute’s Certificate in Green and Sustainable Finance.

Neil is an investment director and has over 10 years’ experience of managing investments for a wide range of private clients, trusts and charities. Prior to joining Rathbones, Neil was an investment director at Evelyn Partners where he worked since 2011 . As well as being a member of the Scotland charity team, Neil was also a member of the direct equity committee where he helped guide the process for investing in direct equities throughout the wider company. Neil is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI and holds a 2:1 MA in History and International Relations from Aberdeen University.

Neil is an investment director and has over 10 years’ experience of managing investments for a wide range of private clients, trusts and charities. After graduating from University in 2004, Gary has amassed a wealth of practical experience through roles at Nomura and Brewin Dolphin. He has a first-class honours degree in financial services and a masters in wealth management. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Sam joined Rathbones as an investment manager in January 2022. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and he also holds the CISI Level 6 Diploma.

Sam has been managing multi-asset portfolios for a wide range of private clients, pension funds, trusts and charities since 2013. He now specialises in working with financial advisers and their clients. Sam holds a BEng in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Finance.

Sam joined Rathbones as an investment manager in January 2022. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and he also holds the CISI Level 6 Diploma.
